Stratego community

I'd been playing on Flash debugger for a while, but not for several days. Logged in today and got Error #2048 security sandbox violation. I remember getting this a bit from the online version too before 2021.

No such error for me, but it is over regardless.

I believe it was the day of March 1st that the website, regardless of our tips and tricks, did finally go down for good - the app as well, I'm quite certain.

For what it's worth, and not much maybe, because it's was only against the computer, but I was indeed able to play a game a couple days ago on the desktop version of .com.

I guess I am surprised that it worked at all. Doesn't playing the computer AI require basically using Flash just like the regular game?

I guess I was in the dark about this. KoP was saying he still uses the old desktop to adjust his setups, which he then plays with. I didn't know you could still do that either.

The server/service responsible for the multiplayer aspects (chat, friendlist, games, etc) has been shut off. I was actually surprised when I found out I could still log in as I had expected that to be part of the service too.

Note that flash being deprecated doesn't have any (immediate/automatic) effect on webservices no longer working.
